MILES was founded in 2003 by the mother of a Traumatic Brain and Spinal Cord injured (TBI/SCI) son, and a few good friends that were determined to see that the citizens of the state of Mississippi have what many other states in the USA have also. This is transitional style homes for our survivors of TBI/SCI individuals.
These are the type of homes where our loved ones can go and get the type of care that they need after they return home. The type of care that will pick up where the hospitals leave off. To help them to learn how to live with a brain injury. Because we know life does go on and you CAN live a very healthy life if given a chance in the correct way. We began our journey in 2003 and we received our 501 C 3 in July of 2005.
Our 501 C 3 private non-profit organization is dedicated to aiding those less fortunate. Established in the heart of Mississippi, we’ve aided the less fortunate for over 8 years now. Many of those we helped were able to get back on their feet and start their lives a new. We are very proud of our accomplishments today and proud to say that not only do we help those from our great State of Mississippi, but many States throughout the USA today.
