Welcome! Our non-profit organization is dedicated to aiding those less fortunate. Established in the heart of Mississippi we’ve aided the less fortunate for over 4 years now. Many of those we helped were able to get back on their feet and start their lives a new.

As many of you know MILES was founded in 2003 by myself(Mary Bates) and a few good friends that were determined to see that the citizens of the state of Mississippi have what most other states in the union have as well. This is transitional style homes for our brain and spinal cord injured individuals.
These are the type of homes where our loved ones can go and get the type of care that they need after they return home. The type of care that will pick up where the hospitals leave off. To help them to learn how to live with a brain injury. Because we know life does go on and you CAN. live a very healthy life if given a chance in the correct way.
We began our journey in 2003 and we recieved our 501 C 3 in July of 2005.
